SageGarden offers fully facilitated, hands-on sessions rooted in nature, designed for assisted living communities - with minimal staff involvement.
Each session is designed using established horticultural therapy principles to support participation, engagement, and a sense of well-being.

Karen is a New York Botanical Garden–trained horticultural therapist and Master Gardener certified in two states. With decades of experience working with plants and people, she designs programs that are engaging, accessible, and thoughtfully paced.
Her approach balances structure with flexibility, allowing participants to engage at their own comfort level and pace, while feeling supported and successful.
Karen personally facilitates each SageGarden program, ensuring a calm, high-quality and welcoming experience.
